Upstream of Moab, Utah the Colorado River runs through a deep red rock canyon passing desert towers, varnished mesas, and snowcapped peaks. The rapids are fun, splashy, and a great introduction to river running for the whole family. No matter how much time you have, this is a place you need to see for yourself.

The whitewater is rated class II with a few class III’s. They are clean straight forward rapids with a little bit of rock and roll. May and June bring higher flows with the snowmelt from the Rocky Mountains and things get a bit more interesting. In the summer month’s water levels drop and water temps rise, presenting the perfect opportunity to swim in the mighty Colorado River. Moab rafting is Utah's most popular river trip and is ideal for short adventures, group outings, first time river experiences, or overnight camping trips.
