Short and sweet this half day adventure will give you a taste for Moab canyoneering! A quick ramble from our office up a rugged 4x4 trail will bring us to the head of Dad Gum Canyon (on the QT & not published in guidebooks).

Canyoneering is more than just a rappel; it's an active and physical sport where you use your whole body to make your way down a beautiful canyon. We take you to where very few have had the privilege to roam! No experience is needed just a sense of adventure!

Prepare to be wet! Several small waterfalls into crystal clear pools are a highlight in this little slot canyon. Then, Dad Gum an amazing 200ft-guided-rappel! The experience will prove to be way beyond your expectations.

Your canyoneering guides will give you a thorough instruction about important rappelling & down-climbing techniques. We supply the technical gear such as a harness, helmet and belay device.

Trip Details:

Your half-day Moab canyoneering trip departs at 8:00 AM, or 1:00 PM. Meet us at the NAVTEC Expedition office 15 minutes prior to your departure. We are located at 321 N. Main St. Moab, Utah. We have plenty of parking for your convenience. Pick-up from local hotels, motels, and campgrounds is also available upon advance request. Trips operate year round. All ground transportation is included. Reservations are recommended.

  • 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM -- Afternoon tour

$95 Adult & $85 Youth (16 and under) + tax

  • $15 per person deposit is required to confirm space on the trip. Your balance or final payment is due no less than 48 hours prior to trip departure.
  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more prior to departure receive a full refund less a $10 per person cancellation fee. Sorry no refunds within 48 hours of departure WITHOUT EXCEPTION.
