CANYONLANDS NATIONAL PARK, UTAH: The mighty Colorado River has eroded an intricate system of canyons and towering mesas. This is a wilderness rich in natural wonder and big whitewater. Rafting trips begin on a tranquil meandering desert river. The Colorado River passes spectacular side canyons, archeological sites, pristine beaches, and diverse ecological communities. Rafting the Colorado is an experience like no other.
Thirty rapids, ranging in difficulty up to class V, roll through the canyon. Fed by snow-melt off the Rocky Mountains, peak flows in late May and early June can set the stage for the biggest whitewater in North America. Cataract Canyon is an amazingly remote and dramatic district of Canyonlands National Park. It’s not hard to see why we like it here. We think you will enjoy the one-of-a-kind experience of Cataract Canyon rafting.
