Adventure with us into the scenic Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands National Park. Our trip begins down the Colorado River corridor, just outside Moab, and finishes high on the mesa top. On this half-day tour, we will stop to take in the sights and gaze upon red-rock canyons seldom seen by other visitors.

Our expert guides will unlock the secrets of Canyonlands' stunning natural history and help you gain a deeper understanding of this remarkable landscape and the people who once called this majestic place home. At one of our first stops, we will admire and learn about ancient petroglyphs—remarkable art left by past cultures, etched into the canyon walls.

On the trail, you will experience the blue "potash" salt ponds, the famous Thelma and Louise Point, and the stunning Gooseneck Overlook of the Colorado River. Upon entering the park deep within Shafer Canyon, we’ll stop off for a quick restroom and photo op and continue up the canyon onto the White Rim Road.

Traveling a portion of this road to Musselman Arch, we’ll get dramatic, deep views of the canyons below and above. We finish the tour by climbing the famous Shafer Trail switchbacks to the top of the Island in the Sky mesa.
