DURATION: 9 hours
As part of this tour, we’ll take an adventure on a thrilling 4x4 route and hike out to Tower Arch and Eye of the Whale Arch and have the opportunity to experience the solitude the backcountry has to offer. At mid-day, you’ll get to relax and enjoy the view while we provide a picnic lunch.

We booked the full 1 day 4x4 guided tour with Navtec. Since we had limited time in Moab, we wanted to get as much bang for our buck. This tour did not disappoint! Matt was our tour guide. He did a great job showing us around and driving over the rough roads in the 1994 Toyota Landcruiser. Sweet ride! We absolutely loved the Moab spring water provided by Navtec, we can’t stop talking about it! Many of the spots that we viewed cannot be accessed by normal vehicles, we witnessed a few getting stuck. The 4x4 is a requirement. First half of the day was in Arches, we enjoyed the numerous hikes, dinosaur tracks and info. Afternoon was great: a delicious picnic lunch with more amazing views. We then saw some petroglyphs (ancient rock art) and headed for our adventure in Cayonlands. Definitely a thrilling ride, right along the rim!! If you want the full experience of the 2 parks and don’t feel like planning or researching everything, spend the money and book this unforgettable excursion.
